What a wonderful man I married!!

Adam and I have decided to purchase our life insurance through a private agency.  In order to "qualify" they have one of their medical people come out and and take your blood pressure, weigh you, calculate your height and make you pee in a cup. None of these seem too terrible...Then you have to give them blood. I realize that I have a few tattoos, but I despise my blood being drawn. I thought maybe I would feel better about getting my blood drawn since the nurse was coming to my place of work instead of me having a minor panic attack in an actual clinic. To make matters worse, I wasn't allowed to eat until AFTER!!  Ugh! No coffee, no food and little sleep. This was not shaping up to be a very good day.

So the nurse comes and does all the boring and easy stuff with no problems. Then she goes to draw my blood. First of all, she couldn't decide which arm to draw from. Then she finally decided and rammed the needle into my arm. OUCH! There was no mercy or gentleness about her. Then she proceeded to move it around in my arm, pull it out just a before the needle came all the way out and shoved it back in! "Musta missed your vein" she says!  She does this several times. I am on the verge of losing my stomach when finally "GOTCHA". Whew, it was finally over.

After she left I sat at my desk with the world's worst headache and the most unbelievable shakes. I texted Adam and told him that I had a terrible headache and was really shaky. I also told him it was an awful experience. He is sweet, so he says he's sorry and to let him know if there is anything he can do.

Later that afternoon, I get a call from security informing me that there is a package for me downstairs. I go down, puzzled, and pick it up. When I arrive to the security desk, there is a beautiful bouquet of strawberries and pineapple! The pineapple is cut into little hearts and the strawberries are ginormous! With all that said, I was reminded of how wonderful of man Adam is. Thank you for loving me so much that you order me a bouquet of natural sugars, just what my body needed! Plus, it was delicious and thoughtful!
